What does the treatment with Lipo-Slim lipolysis involve?

Lipolysis: Pre and Post Treatment Instructions
PRE TREATMENT:
Avoid alcohol for 48 hours prior to your treatment, specifically red wine.Avoid anti-inlammatory drugs, Aspiring, Vitamin E or Ginkgo Biloba one week prior. This will reduce the possible side effects of bruising.Discontinue Retin-A (3) days before and (3) days after treatment.Beta-blockers (used in treatment high blood pressure) and certain thyroid conditions can interfere chemically with the procedure.If you are allergic to soy, you should not have this treatment s the active ingredients are derivatives of soy.You cannot be pregnant or breatfeeding.Patients who have a history of recurring cold sores (Herpes simplex type 1) should start oral Valtrex 500 mg tablets 2 days prior to your treatment and continue for 3 days after.If you develop a cold sore, blemish, or rash, prior to your appointment, you must reschedule.If you have a special affair or vacation coming up, schedule your treatment at least 2 weeks in advance.
POST TREATMENT:
The first 2 hours post treatment, you will feel a slight sensation of itching and burning. Only 4% of patients need a pain-killing tablet on the 1st night after treatment.It is important that you ice the area for 24 hours post treatment to localize the injection.Bandaging may be required. After your treatment, you may experience redness, itching, swelling or bruising. This should las less than 7 ays. Cold compresses may be used immediately after
treatment to reduce swelling. If the redness and /or swelling or any other reactions do not go away after (7) days, contact us.If the pain is uncomfortable, use acetaminophen (Tylenol) following the directions on the bottle. DO NOT USE disprin (Aspirin) as it may increase bruising at the site of injection.Avoid touching the treated area for (6) hours following the treatment. After that you can wash the area gently.It is important that the amount of movement in the area injected be immobilized as much as possible for the next 48 – 72 hours.Sunbathing and cold outdoor activities should be avoided until the redness and/or swelling go down.After Lipolysis treatment, it is important to keep hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids (non-alcholic). The area must be massaged every evening for a period of 2 weeks.Avoid exercise and alcohol, especially Red wine for at least (6) hours after the treatment.
The injected substance contains Lethicin which is from soybean and is used to be administered intravenously when treatment fat embolisms or in order to reduce blood lipid levels. Among other applications, it is administered orally as liver protection against adiposis hepatica. With respect to such treatments, there have been no known side effects.
