What Payment Methods Are Accepted by Med-Shop South Africa?

1. Credit Card Payments

We accept card payments online from around the world.

 

 

All Payments Made via our website is Secure and Safe 

   

 

You will require the following information to complete your transaction

• Your 16-digit credit card number
• The expiry date
• The CVV number (that’s the last 3 digits on the back of your card/American Express customers a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.)
• Your name exactly as it appears on the front of the card
• Payment will be deducted immediately. That means we can start processing your order straight away. 

 

Are you 3D Secure:

• • 3D Secure is an internationally recognised security standard for online credit card payments. It is also called Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode or Amex Safekey.
  • It is an authentication service that allows only the cardholder to use the card when shopping online.
  • Cardholders are allowed to enter their previously selected PIN/Password or a One Time PIN to help their bank to know it is you shopping online.
  • An additional focus on the safety of online transactions.
  • The bank may have already registered the you for the service, or you may be required to register during your next online purchase.

I don’t see my bank here

• If your bank is not enrolled in 3D Secure, your transaction will still be secure and you will be able to continue to checkout with purchases made on our website. Please contact your bank if you have any queries.

 

Are You Already registered for 3D Secure?

• Excellent! If you have already registered or activated your card for 3D Secure with your bank, then proceed to checkout and follow the prompts. A One Time Pin (OTP) will be sent to you via SMS or email. Enter this OTP on the checkout screen, and click “Submit” to process your transaction.

 

• Dependent on Your Bank, some cardholders do not need to register or activate 3D Secure. 

 

Does Med-Shop South Africa store my Credit Card information?

• We never store any of your Credit Card information. 

 

What information will be on my Credit Card statement?

• Your statement will reflect a payment was made to "Med-Shop South Africa".

 

2. Debit Cards

• Certain Gold, Platinum cheque or debit cards can be used to make payments just like credit cards.
• This allows buyers to make use of available funds as opposed to buying on credit with a credit card.

Can I use my Capitec Global One card  linked to my savings account ? 

• Your Global One card, a debit Mastercard®, is just like a credit card, but without any of the credit or additional fees.
• This means that you can use your card to shop online with us.
• Register for online shopping at your nearest  branch and then activate your SecureCode.

3. EFT or Bank Deposit

• If you don’t have a credit card, or prefer not to use your card online, you can pay by EFT or bank deposit. This is a little slower than other payment methods because we’ll need to wait for your payment to reflect before we can start processing your order.

• Once you’ve placed your order, you’ll need to make an EFT or direct deposit into our business account within 2 working days/48 Hours, using the Bank Details on your order form.

• As soon as we receive your payment, we’ll start processing your order.

Please remember: It’s important that we receive your payment within 2 working days/48 Hours or we cannot guarantee​ availabilty of stock items. 

 

How Can I pay with My Countries Currency?

• At checkout and payment with your debit/credit cards the system automatically converts this for you.
